What I Do:

I lead the Foreign Exchange sales team in the UK who are responsible for providing institutional clients with liquidity and solutions to their hedging and directional needs and which makes markets in currency swaps and eFX.

Proud Moment:

As a member of our Inclusion and Diversity Committee in Europe, I helped organise our internal charity auctions, raising over £500k since inception and benefitting local charities. As an active member of our Woman at TD group I also had the opportunity to moderate a TD client event hosting Ruth Davidson, former leader of the Scottish Conservative party.

Additionally, as a mother of one daughter and with another one on the way, having the opportunity to return from my maternity leave and continue to grow in my career by taking on more management responsibilities has been a personal achievement I'm proud of. Being able to balance motherhood while helping cultivate young TD talent flourish is a very rewarding experience and opportunity.

Advice to My Younger Self:

Don't worry or overthink what you consider are your weaknesses. Focus on ways to boost your confidence and lead with your strengths. Challenging and even negative experiences are means for growth. Take a step back and look at the bigger picture. Finally, be a strategic thinker!
