Eileen Solla-Diaz
Managing Director and Head of U.S. Agency and Public Finance Origination
Eileen is a dedicated champion for both Women in Leadership and Minorities in Leadership. When she joined TD Securities, Eileen inquired about an internal group to support women in the organization. Finding there was nothing available locally in New York, she sought guidance from the Toronto-based group and re-launched WIL for TD Securities in the U.S. in 2010. In addition to founding TDS Women in Leadership (U.S.), she also served as its committee Chair for several years, and she continues to actively encourage and shape female leaders of the future.

What I Do:
I lead teams that help our Government Sponsored Enterprises and Municipal Clients raise money in the Fixed Income market.Proud Moment:
I'm very proud when I look out at TD's trading floor and realize I played a significant role in creating the diversity I see there. When I was hired 11 years ago, I knew I wanted to dedicate the rest of my career to shaping female leaders. As part of this, I helped to reinvigorate our U.S. Women in Leadership committee. Since then, WIL has empowered change by developing and promoting more women than ever before, enhancing parental leave policies and providing a forum for women to speak up about their experiences so we can continue to drive change and make TDS a preferred place to work for women.Advice to My Younger Self:
If you get the opportunity, take a risk and work abroad. One regret I have is turning down opportunities to work in another country. While I have traveled extensively throughout my career, actually living and working in a different culture for an extended period provides amazing growth opportunities.Read more about our female leaders.
