As an enthusiastic advocate for Women in Leadership (WIL) at TD Securities, Lauren is committed to using the power of communication to provide awareness, support and resources that help women reach their full potential – and to highlight their successes along the way. She currently leads the Communications pillar for the TD Securities WIL (Canada) Committee, and recently led the launch of an internal and external communications strategy meant to inspire, connect and promote development opportunities for Canadian women across the firm.

What I do:

I lead a North American team dedicated to understanding consumer decision-making and optimizing the communication framework, marketing strategies and digital presence for our retail foreign exchange and precious metals products. Our ultimate goal is to enable customer connections and business growth.

Proud moment:

I was very proud when I earned my MBA degree as a part-time student and full-time professional. It took dedication, perseverance and hard work; it also taught me a lot about my inner strength and inspired me to continue to dream big.

Advice to my younger self:

Have the courage to be vocal about your goals. Whether personal or professional, being able to communicate what you want empowers you to stand in your truth – and it gives others the opportunity to understand where you want to go and how to help you get there.
