What I Do:

My team assists with Derivative X-Value Adjustment (xVA) and Return on Equity pricing. I'm also actively involved in optimizing our financial resources (i.e., risk-weighted assets, leverage, funding charges), including from a strategic direction perspective and a localized standpoint for London and Dublin.

Proud Moment:

Winning one of the inaugural TD Securities Pinnacle Awards in 2014. The Pinnacle Award is an annual award that recognizes TD Securities colleagues for an outstanding performance in their role and for contributing greatly to the company. It the highest distinction given at TD Securities and being a recipient meant a lot to me.

Advice to My Younger Self:

Spend as much time networking with colleagues as you do with industry peers. If you're based in a smaller regional hub, try increasing your networking across jurisdictions, as well as forming those personal connections -- even if mainly done electronically. I always value personal connections, and focusing on them is a sure way to 'get things done' as expediently as possible.
