Elaine Kealy
Chief Risk Officer, TD Global Finance

Through roles as Chief Risk Officer and Vice Chair of the European Inclusion & Diversity Committee, Elaine is an inspiring role model and leader and has been a driving force of TD Securities' inclusive culture in Ireland. After 12 years with our firm, and following a tenure in the U.K., Elaine returned to Ireland in 2018 to establish our European hub.

What I Do

In my role as Chief Risk Officer, I provide independent oversight and governance -- with respect to risk identification and assessment, measurement, control, and monitoring and reporting -- for TD Securities in Ireland. My role as Vice Chair of the European Inclusion & Diversity Committee is to champion and support the Committee and its ambitious plans.

Proud Moment

Seeing the Dublin office grow has been fantastic! I'm incredibly proud of what we have achieved over the past few years toward establishing our European hub. I'll forever remember key milestones such as our license authorization, our office launch, and our inaugural trade. We have fantastic people and a great culture, and I like to think the European Inclusion & Diversity Committee has played a key part in developing and supporting our people and creating a work environment where everyone can succeed.

Advice to My Younger Self

Don't be afraid to ask questions! I've grown in confidence over the years and now I'm a firm believer that there's no such thing as a stupid question.
